You could accuse Katchoo of trying to look the part, what with the leather jacket and cigarette dangling out of the corner of her mouth to go with the new boots, except that she'd had the jacket forever and the cigarette was pretty much an accessory for her.

She'd argue that all of those things went well with the rented motorcycle she was surveying now.

"Still can't believe I'm doing this," she muttered, picking up one of the helmets (she hadn't been able to get a pink one for Arthur, sadly) and trying it on.

Teaching Arthur how to ride a motorcycle. Yeah, this was gonna go great.

Arthur rolled his eyes succinctly. (Yes, eyerolls got adverbs, if you were Arthur Fucking Pendragon and had more than your fair share of practice at the... practice) "I hardly see the problem with doing this," he said, "So stop complaining." He picked up one of the helmets gingerly, considering it. "Bit like a jousting helmet." Considering that his entire closet was filled with leather garments, it came as no surprise that motorcycle-applicable pants and jacket were present today.

"At least she's wearing a helmet," Francine sighed. Not that the statement made her look any less dubious about this whole thing. "She didn't use to back in Houston."

Merlin just shot her a look, keeping silent lest he start yelling at Arthur for being so utterly stupid here.

"It's not quite as dangerous as it looks?" Francine offered for no reason she could think of since she in fact was also of the opinion that this was exactly the opposite of the Best Idea Evar.

"It has brakes, and Chewie does know how to drive one." And.... how to dress to ride one. Which she'd taught Arthur well, if he learned nothing else.

"But yeah, I'd be happier if they wouldn't risk BREAKING THEIR HEADS OPEN." That last was said loud enough that it was probably hearable even over a rather loud motor.

Francine gave him the only possible response that would also temporarily cut down on her own nerves: she stuck out her tongue at him. Then she turned her attention back to the day's entertainment: Blondes on A Bike: The Insane Edition!

"At least the clothes are nice..." Which was Nice Girl for At least the pants are tight...
